Happy New Year

Happy New Year everyone!

We spent our New Year's Eve getting things ready around our house for the trip and "practice packing". Woohoo! Its all good though - our excitement for 2006 is just beginning - better to conserve our energy anyway. We did managed to pull ourselves away just in time to watch a surprisingly and sadly withered Dick Clark get ahead of the official ball drop count by a few seconds.

For breakfast this very morning we did finally meet with another couple from Group 108, Mark and Lisa, going to China to pick up their first daughter, Elise. (I hope I spelled it correctly.) It was a very enjoyable time and calmed our minds to know someone else traveling with us. I just hope all the information we gave them from our previous trip proves helpful.

Anyway, we'll check in as the week progresses.
